Love reading and trading cards?

Join the Reading Dragons Kids Club at Avondale Civic Center Library and Sam Garcia Library! Earn Reading Dragon cards by tracking your reading, then use your cards to play games, build your collection, and trade with friends.

How It Works: Kids ages 5-12 can pick up a starter pack at the library. It includes everything you need: a program guide, games, starter cards, and a reading tracker. Every time you complete a reading tracker section, come back to the library to earn a new deck of Reading Dragon cards. Just read, and the cards are yours!

Exciting Activities Throughout 2025:

Note: Civic Center Library and Sam Garcia Library each have their own reading trackers, and you can sign up for both! Each branch will only offer and sign off on its own tracker.
