Citizen Science
Participate in real science experiments with real scientists!
What is citizen science?
Citizen science is real scientific research done by people like you and me! Each project begins with a scientific inquiry from professional scientists who need your help gathering and analyzing information to aid in the results of their study.
As “Citizen Scientists” we can share in scientific data collection and provide access to scientific information within our communities.
Check out a Citizen Science Kit with all the tools you will need to participate in various Citizen Science projects. Choose from a variety of cool kits! Get a new one each month including:
- Star finding

There are projects and resources to match all interests, and Citizen Science is perfect for all ages and great for family activities. No prior scientific knowledge is required!
