Refunds

If an item was lost and the replacement fee paid, a refund will be made if the item is returned to the library within six months.

Blocked Cards/Collections

A patron’s card is blocked when fines or charges reach $10.00 or more on their account. This will result in the loss of check out privileges. When the account balance is less than $10.00, privileges will be restored. Accumulated fees of $50.00 or more will be referred to collections after 60 days delinquency.

Lost or Stolen Cards

If a card is lost or stolen, notify the library immediately. Cardholders or a parent or guardian of a cardholder takes responsibility for any unauthorized use.

Change of Address, Phone Number, or E-Mail Address

If cardholder or a cardholder’s legal guardian fails to receive an overdue notice because they failed to notify the library of a change of address, phone number or e-mail address, they will still be responsible for any resulting fines or fees.
